This post is a week and a half late but it'll do :) The kids started school last week and Ben was able to take them which is so nice since I couldn't :(

Ethan is going to 2nd, Noah to 4th and Andréa is in her very last year of middle school. Here are the photos Ben took of the boys on their walk to school.

Andréa didn't get her picture taken in the morning so I made her take a few photos for me as soon as she came through the door :)

Yes, we're going back in time, oh, about a week and a half. My niece flew in from N.Y. on the 6th...we couldn't wait to see her!  

Here are the kids anxiously awaiting her arrival.	She's here! Note the look on her face, she later told me she was expecting to see a familiar face but all she saw was a giant lens. Lol!

Ok, I took way too many photos of the kids so I'll just show some of my favorites.

Early last week  Andréa and I went out to lunch to talk about our plans for the debut of Breaking Dawn at Barnes and Noble.  We shared a pizza and calzone (yes, we ordered way too much food) and gabbed about the new book.

Afterwards, we painted T-shirts to wear to the party at B&N, yes, as in puff paint just like in the early 90's. Lol! Here they are...

  Ethan's ended up saying Ethan the $ Man. He's just too much!

Here we are on Friday night all ready for the PAR-TAY!      

We're finally in and have our bracelets after standing in line outside for half an hour.

We then decided to get in line and grab a coffee, what better way to kill an hour. Yes, it took us a full hour to get a yummy cup of Starbuck's. This is what made it worth her while. Andréa loves anything chocolate and pair that with the Twilight series, we have a winner! So she walked away with a frappuccino and a chocolate bar wrapped in the Twilight cover. I don't think she could have been happier.  The place was crawling with mostly teenage girls (and some moms) dressed in everything ranging from prom dresses to werewolf costumes.

We stayed up until almost 3:00am reading our new books. It was definitely one of my favorite things that Andréa and I have done together. 

Now on Saturday, we had our backyard landscaped. We started out with it looking something like this...

and ended up with this...

We're so excited and hoping that the garbage men will  take all of this with them tomorrow!

I'm so glad I'm finally updating my blog. Notice the new blog banner? Hopefully by this weekend my new look will be complete! So, stay tuned :P

at Panera! I had a weekend filled with house chores and thought it would be nice to end it with a good cup of coffee and some laptop time, so Ben and I headed to one of our favorite spots. Isn't he a buffed little man?! That smaller photo just cracks me up!

Just a little reminder, Breaking Dawn debuts in just  one week!!! Andréa and I reserved our copies months ago and can't wait to get my hands on it :D

Well, not much around here, except for the fact that Ethan got a new do. He looks absolutely adorable, and (according to Drea) much younger. He really wasn't "willing" to get his hair cut but while watching 10,000 B.C. Noah pointed out that Ethan's hair was soon to look like the mess of dreads that most of the characters sported. Lol! Shortly thereafter, he began to think about cutting his hair, until I took him to Cool Cuts and gave him no choice. He behaved incredibly well, despite the fact he changed his mind and was welcoming the soon to come dreads. He absolutely hates his new hair do and has stated that he is going to grow it out again in time for school...ugh!

Here are a couple more when he's actually smiling. Adorable, isn't he?!

Moving on...we've been watching a movie almost every night with the kids after dinner; it's a really fun way to end the evening. We're also throwing in some of our old favorites; Ben and I are on a mission to watch all of the 1980's movies that we loved as kids with our children. So far this summer we've watched Teen Wolf, Ghost Busters I &II, 10,000 B.C., The Incredible Hulk, and I can't remember any others at the moment. Noah loved Teen Wolf but Andréa and Ethan fell asleep, Ghost Busters was a huge hit with the boys, Drea said it was "ok" and we all loved 10,000 B.C. and Hulk. The next movies on our list are Flight of the Navigator, Karate Kid, and Big.

Now for the 4th of July...we had a small family cookout but first I set up my tripod and took some family photos. 

We're off to Sea World tomorrow, so I'll have a ton of photos to share. Have a great weekend!

Just wanted to say congrats to Heather for her accomplishments; not only did she graduate from her residency, she was also Chief Resident. We're all so very proud of you!
