....is what this post is! I can't believe it's been exactly one month since I've last posted; well, maybe I can...I'm such a bad blogger. :) Warning: This may be a lengthy, picture filled post. Lol! Anyway, here are some photos of Noah's actual party that took place three weeks after his birthday, we're just too busy! They had so much fun riding go-carts, teaming up against Andréa and her friend in a Laser Tag game and playing in the game room. This was the perfect place to have a big boy's birthday.
Here's a layout that I did of Noah when he had just turned 5...Oh, how time flies!
Moving on, Andréa and I ran in a race to raise awareness for the American Lung association. I was so proud of her; she ran 5K in 34 minutes! Here are some before, during and after photos courtesy of my honey.

While we were running Ben took some cool pics of downtown.
and for those who smoke, just a reminder of what your mouth may look like someday....
Now for Mother's Day. I hope every mom was thanked and honored for all they do for their families. I am truly blessed with an awesome family that thanks me often. Now for the celebration...After coming back from the zoo, on Saturday the kids and Ben gave me a gift certificate to amazon.com, to help buy the accessories to the camera I have been saving for. I couldn't wait for this gift in anticipation of what it may be, so I convinced Ben to give it to me on Sat. by informing him that it's Mother's Day in Mexico on the 11th every year. Lol! So, he caved but the kids made me wait to get their personal gifts on Sunday. Sunday morning Ben got up extra early to start on a delish brunch and I was woken by Noah giving me a kiss accompanied with a fresh cup of coffee, I can't think of a better way to be awoken. We had the usual crepes with Ben's famous strawberry cream filling and chevre with mango preserves, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was wonderful. Right after breakfast Andréa gave me a very pretty necklace (that I was actually admiring a few days before, she had no idea) and a coupon book filled with acts of service. Noah made me a beautiful card with a poem written all by himself and ethan gave me a cute May calendar he made at school....pictures coming soon to a flikr near you. I had a wonderful weekend spent with my family.
Now here's what I bought with the gc...

I'm super excited and can't wait until it comes! Ok, gotta run. I need to wake Andréa to take her to her doctor's appointment, my poor baby stayed home from school with a fever and terrible sore throat, I'm hoping it's not strep. Well, have a great week month, knowing me it will be that long before I post.
