at Panera! I had a weekend filled with house chores and thought it would be nice to end it with a good cup of coffee and some laptop time, so Ben and I headed to one of our favorite spots. Isn't he a buffed little man?! That smaller photo just cracks me up!

Here are a couple of my latest scrapbook layouts. I'm a little behind on my quota (my goal was to do at least one per week) but I'm soon to catch up :)

I love this photo of Ethan at the pool. He couldn't look up because the sun was way too bright.

Here's Noah...the title says it all!

Just a little reminder, Breaking Dawn debuts in just  one week!!! Andréa and I reserved our copies months ago and can't wait to get my hands on it :D

Well, not much around here, except for the fact that Ethan got a new do. He looks absolutely adorable, and (according to Drea) much younger. He really wasn't "willing" to get his hair cut but while watching 10,000 B.C. Noah pointed out that Ethan's hair was soon to look like the mess of dreads that most of the characters sported. Lol! Shortly thereafter, he began to think about cutting his hair, until I took him to Cool Cuts and gave him no choice. He behaved incredibly well, despite the fact he changed his mind and was welcoming the soon to come dreads. He absolutely hates his new hair do and has stated that he is going to grow it out again in time for school...ugh!

Here are a couple more when he's actually smiling. Adorable, isn't he?!

Moving on...we've been watching a movie almost every night with the kids after dinner; it's a really fun way to end the evening. We're also throwing in some of our old favorites; Ben and I are on a mission to watch all of the 1980's movies that we loved as kids with our children. So far this summer we've watched Teen Wolf, Ghost Busters I &II, 10,000 B.C., The Incredible Hulk, and I can't remember any others at the moment. Noah loved Teen Wolf but Andréa and Ethan fell asleep, Ghost Busters was a huge hit with the boys, Drea said it was "ok" and we all loved 10,000 B.C. and Hulk. The next movies on our list are Flight of the Navigator, Karate Kid, and Big.

Now for the 4th of July...we had a small family cookout but first I set up my tripod and took some family photos.

As most of you know Ben and I took a vacation to Paris recently; we had a blast! I have been quite busy going through the nearly 4,000 photos I took while there - that's what I get for getting a 16gb compact flash :) While checking my favorite blog in the world I noticed that Heather is on strike until I post my photos...we can't have that, so here are some of my favorites. You can see the rest here http://flickr.com/photos/silviascheirman/, enjoy!

Ok, so it's been almost a month and I haven't posted at all! I have been completely busy with summer and breaking in my new camera. I have been so busy that I've even fallen behind my scrap-a-page-a-week goal...yikes! Anyway, here are a couple of very recent photos from my sisters' visit, my cousin's wedding and just around the house.

....is what this post is! I can't believe it's been exactly one month since I've last posted; well, maybe I can...I'm such a bad blogger.  :)  Warning: This may be a lengthy, picture filled post. Lol! Anyway, here are some photos of Noah's actual party that took place three weeks after his birthday, we're just too busy!  They had so much fun riding go-carts, teaming up against Andréa and her friend in a Laser Tag game and playing in the game room. This was the perfect place to have a big boy's birthday.

Moving on, Andréa and I ran in a race to raise awareness for the American Lung association. I was so proud of her; she ran 5K in 34 minutes! Here are some before, during and after photos courtesy of my honey.

Now for Mother's Day. I hope every mom was thanked and honored for all they do for their families. I am truly blessed with an awesome family that thanks me often. Now for the celebration...After coming back from the zoo, on Saturday the kids and Ben gave me a gift certificate to amazon.com, to help buy the accessories to the camera I have been saving for. I couldn't wait for this gift in anticipation of what it may be, so I convinced Ben to give it to me on Sat. by informing him that it's Mother's Day in Mexico on the 11th every year. Lol! So, he caved but the kids made me wait to get their personal gifts on Sunday.  Sunday morning Ben got up extra early to start on a delish brunch and I was woken by Noah giving me a kiss accompanied with a fresh cup of coffee, I can't think of a better way to be awoken. We had the usual crepes with Ben's famous strawberry cream filling and chevre with mango preserves, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was wonderful. Right after breakfast Andréa gave me a very pretty necklace (that I was actually admiring a few days before, she had no idea) and a coupon book filled with acts of service. Noah made me a beautiful card with a poem written all by himself and ethan gave me a cute May calendar he made at school....pictures coming soon to a flikr near you.  I had a wonderful weekend spent with my family.

Now here's what I bought with the gc...

                this                                              and                           this                           and

I'm super excited and can't wait until it comes! Ok, gotta run. I need to wake Andréa to take her to her doctor's appointment, my poor baby stayed home from school with a fever and terrible sore throat, I'm hoping it's not strep. Well, have a great week month, knowing me it will be that long before I post.

Well, it wasn't too exciting but we were pretty busy. On Saturday we had a cleaning day; we cleaned the house from top to bottom and still have some organizing to do! Ben did some yard work with the boys while Andréa and worked on the inside...doing laundry and Spring cleaning. Later that evening we had some friends come over with their children and ordered some pizza from our favorite pizza shop. The guys had fun playing Rock Band while I helped my friend create her very first digital layout! Yes, it was a ton of fun! On Sunday we drove a little over an hour to visit with my aunt and cousins. Actually Ben drove while I worked on a layout, he,he.  One of my cousins is getting married in May and we're all thrilled for her. On our way we stopped at this awesome torta place and had the best tortas ever (outside of Mexico, of course). They make the bread from scratch...Yum!

Before coming home we stopped over at Lowe's to get some things for our organizing projects and found some great buys on house trees. I found a great palm for only $12! Upon coming home Ben aerated and fertilized the lawn, while I made sure the kids were fed and bathed...yes, we're an awesome team. Later this week Ben will build some shelves in the office closet for some needed storage and I will finish organizing the kids' rooms.

Here's the layout I made on the way to my aunt's.
